Lloyd and Tammy believe the old adage, “you are what you eat,” and believe the same holds true for their cows. The cattle eat grass the way that Mother Nature intended. In summer the cattle graze on irrigated natural grass pastures. In winter, they graze on the hay fields and eat on creek bottoms. The cattle are fed supplemental grass hay during the cold, snowy periods. The cows have access to fresh mountain water throughout the year.

Pasture-raised, grass-fed beef is better for the environment and the consumer. Fewer carbons are put into the environment by pasture raised cattle. Studies have shown that gress-fed beef is lower in total fat, higher in vitamins and minerals, and higher in omega-3s.
